What will I see?
Visitors can enjoy the grounds of the Amiens Legacy Centre where there are a series of information boards and several art installations to be enjoyed. Please note that the toilets are locked when there is no volunteer present.

How much does it cost?
General entry (self-guided) is free for all ages.
GUIDED TOURS
When is it open?
The Amiens Legacy Centre is open to the general public every Saturday from 10am to 1pm.

What will I see?
Volunteers are on site to show you around both inside and outside the buildings, talk you through the displays, show screenings of our series of short documentary films and to answer any questions you may have.

How much time will it take?
Allow approximately 1 hour for your tour.

How much does it cost?
Guided tours are $5 per person.
Additional guided tours can be arranged by appointment at a cost of $5 per person.
GROUP TOURS
When is it open?
Educational visits for school or community groups can be booked at a time that suits you.

What will I see?
These tours can be tailored to your specific needs. For example, tin panning demonstrations require specific equipment and must be pre-arranged. As a bare minimum your group should allow at least one hour for a full tour, including screenings of the documentary films.

The cost for a group tour is worked out upon application.

Is catering available?
We also offer a simple morning or afternoon tea for an extra $5 per person by pre-arrangement only.
How to get there
Directions to the Amiens Legacy Centre
The Amiens Legacy Centre is a 20 minute drive from Stanthorpe along Amiens Road.

15 km from Stanthorpe you will pass the Amiens State School on your left.

1 km further on Amiens Rd automatically turns into Goldfields Road.

Follow Goldfields Road past the train carriage to gain entrance to the carpark on your left.

Directions from the New England Highway and/or Stanthorpe
Turn off the New England Highway at Cottonvale, or follow Amiens Rd out from Stanthorpe.
